The Tennis4Fun team

Meet our coaches, sparring partners and club administration team

The Tennis 4Fun team consists of coaches, sparring partners and club administrators – people who help players develop and enjoy tennis.

Founder

Darja
Deņisova

Darja is the founder of the Tennis 4Fun tennis club.

In her youth, Darja played tennis competitively, represented Latvia at the European Championships in the U14 and U16 age categories and played for the Latvian junior national team.

In 2014, Darja realised that she wanted to continue building her life around tennis and founded the Tennis 4Fun tennis club.

Today, Darja manages the club, handles administrative matters and inspires both coaches and players.

Sparring partner and club administrator

Grigorijs
Orlovs

Grigorijs is the 2006 Latvian national singles champion in the under-14 age category, a multiple winner of LTS competitions and a participant in Tennis Europe tournaments.

He has been an excellent sparring partner for professional players such as Jeļena Ostapenko and Darja Semeņistaja.

Grigorijs enjoys sharing his experience with young athletes during tennis training sessions.

It is important to him that every session takes place in a fun and positive atmosphere.

Grigorijs not only conducts training sessions but also works as an administrator at Tennis 4Fun. He communicates with clients every day, helps them choose the most suitable group, answers various questions and ensures that everything runs smoothly both on and off the court.

Tennis sparring partner

Oļegs
Kislovs

Tennis has always been Oļegs’s favourite sport, and he played it actively from a young age.

After the birth of his twins, Oļegs wanted to introduce his daughters to tennis as well. Gradually, tennis became a shared passion for the family — his daughters learned the fundamentals of the game and later successfully participated in competitions.

For Oļegs, the most important thing is seeing his students progress. He believes that patience, a calm approach and regular practice are the key ingredients for improving one’s game.

Coach

Armands
Audriņš

Armands comes from a true tennis family — several generations of his relatives have been closely connected with the sport.

Armands’s students achieve success both in Latvian Tennis Union competitions and in international tournaments.

At the club, Armands conducts group sessions for children and training sessions for adults, as well as offering private lessons to players who prefer a personalised approach.

Coach

Valērija
Dmitrijeva

Valērija has more than 15 years of experience conducting tennis lessons at various clubs.

Valērija is meticulous in the best sense of the word and strives not only to teach tennis during her sessions, but also to inspire and motivate her students.

Valērija conducts group lessons for children and adults, as well as private lessons.

Coach

Laura
Dimante

As a child and teenager, Laura played tennis professionally, repeatedly won prizes at LTS tournaments and represented Latvia in international competitions.

After completing her sporting career, Laura went to study in the United States, where she gained valuable experience working with children and became familiar with American tennis teaching methods.

Laura has now returned to Latvia and conducts group lessons for adults at the club, helping players develop their technique, confidence and love of tennis.

Coach

Artūrs
Astahovs

Tennis has been part of Artūrs’s life since childhood, and he once played the sport professionally. Later, tennis took a back seat, but when his child became interested in the sport, his own passion returned with renewed strength. His desire to help his child grow and improve marked the beginning of a new stage in Artūrs’s own tennis journey.

Artūrs enjoys learning, developing and discovering new approaches to working with people. He conducts lessons for children and adults of different skill levels, paying particular attention to a personalised approach and a positive atmosphere. It is important to Artūrs that everyone enjoys tennis, develops their skills and looks forward to returning to the court.
